Quick help

• Pan and zoom the map to explore fire activity. Click a coloured cell to zoom in; at close zoom, select a cell or event to open its details.
• The ranked list shows events in the current map view when zoomed in. Choose latest received, most hotspots or highest summed FRP.
• Drag either yellow time handle to select a period. Drag the band between them to move the whole selection.
• Use the inward arrows to expand your selected period across the timeline. The outward arrows restore the previous timeline range. This changes the time scale, not the underlying data.
• All loads the historical archive on first selection; the progress bar shows loading and indexing. The 48h and 2h views use live events only. All, 48h and 2h reset the timeline to the full available history or a recent window ending at the latest indexed observation. Selecting a preset also exits focus.
• Dates use your local time by default. Select UTC to change the timeline labels.
